Health We are discussing with the World Health Organization the transfer of the latest vaccine manufacturing technology to the “Vaccera” company

Dr. Khaled’s contract Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, held a meeting with Dr. Naima Al Qaseer, representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, and her accompanying delegation, to discuss files of common interest, yesterday, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health’s General Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister thanked the World Health Organization, for its constant keenness to support the efforts of the Ministry of Health Health, to upgrade the health system in Egypt, in order to ensure the provision of the best medical and preventive services to citizens.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the meeting dealt with discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry and the World Health Organization, so that Egypt would become a regional center for the manufacture and storage of various types of vaccines, at the Holding Company. For biological preparations and vaccines “Vaccera” by transferring vaccine manufacturing technology, and training human cadres on this technology

1937188 explained « Abdul Ghaffar said that during the meeting, it was agreed to organize a visit for a delegation of WHO experts to the factories of the “Vaccera” company to evaluate the stages and procedures for producing the anti-Coronavirus vaccine, in preparation for granting it an emergency use license by the World Health Organization.
1937188 For her part, Dr. Naima Al-Qusayr, representative of the World Health Organization at the Egypt, thanks to the Minister of Health and Population, for his constant efforts to upgrade all aspects of the health system, praising the Egyptian state’s interest in the vaccine industry file, stressing the provision of all means of support to Egypt’s efforts towards transforming into a regional center for the manufacture of vaccines.

1937188 The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Assistant Minister of Health for Monitoring and Follow-up Affairs, and Dr. Heba Wali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Biopharmaceuticals and Vaccines (Vaccera), and Dr. Suzan Al-Zanati, Director General of the General Department of External Health Relations at the Ministry of Health.
