The Prime Minister reviews a report on the preparations for organizing the first African Medical Exhibition and Conference “ExCon ​​Health Africa

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, presented a report Presented by Major General Doctor Bahaa El Din Zeidan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Medical Technology, on the preparations for the organization of the Authority for the first African medical exhibition and conference “ExCon ​​Health Africa”.

Major General Bahaa El-Din Zeidan indicated during the report that the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Medical Technology and the Department of Medical Technology is in the process of preparing for organizing the first African Medical Exhibition and Conference, which will be held during the period from 5 to Next June 7, under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic. During the holding of this conference, it became an annual forum between international companies and officials of the medical sector from the African side, through which modern technology in the medical fields is presented, and through It is a sustainable business platform that connects healthcare professionals, manufacturers, agents, distributors and healthcare providers in the world under one roof as well as allowing all healthcare partners to interact together. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority added that the exhibition will provide many opportunities to discover medical products in their various categories, targeting various sectors such as preparations and medical supplies, chemicals and laboratory reagents, medical devices, packaging, medical insurance, and therapeutic nutrition. And vitamins, in addition to what is related to hospitals and pharmacies, cosmetics, leather products, dental devices and supplies, noting that the events will include holding a series of distinguished meetings and dialogues, related to continuing education programs for medical professionals, highlighting the most common topics in the medical field on the African continent.

During the report, Major General Bahaa El Din Zeidan presented an overview of the preparations for organizing the exhibition and conference, with regard to attendance, as well as logistics, and the conference program And what about the activities that will take place?

At the conclusion of his review of the report, the Prime Minister noted the state’s interest in organizing such conferences and exhibitions, especially those that support Strengthening aspects of joint cooperation between Egypt and the countries of the African continent, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in line with the objectives of the African Agenda

that focuses on the importance of increasing investments in health care , in a manner that enhances the efficiency of the medical sector in the continent.

The Prime Minister added that the activities and events that will be included in the scheduled conference, Rather, it is consistent with the efforts made to achieve the sustainable development goals of providing universal health coverage and ensuring access to quality basic health care services, in addition to efforts to provide safe, effective and high-quality essential medicines and vaccines at affordable prices for all, as well as efforts to localize the pharmaceutical industry.
