Strengthening cooperation between EgyptAir and Iraqi Airways in the field of aircraft maintenance

In the context of strengthening technical cooperation between EgyptAir Maintenance Company And technical works and Iraqi Airways, the technical crews of EgyptAir Company for Maintenance and Technical Works completed the implementation of a “heavy maintenance” detection for an Iraqi Airways Boeing B 777- with wide design.

Engineer Yahya Zakaria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Maintenance and Technical Works, said that conducting “heavy maintenance” for one of the Iraqi Airways planes and handing it over to the company comes within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between EgyptAir and Iraqi Airways

, noting that the good relations between the two companies have resulted in the continuation of cooperation for a long time, and it is expected that cooperation in maintaining Iraqi aircraft will be strengthened on a larger scale during the period.

Zakaria stressed that the company EgyptAir for Maintenance and Technical Works aims during the coming period to hold many partnerships with major entities and provide more of their technical services by establishing aircraft maintenance stations in the Middle East and within the African continent to target customers from airlines outside the Arab Republic of Egypt and at the closest points to them.
