Culture directs a plan to exploit the ministry's untapped assets


Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, chaired a leadership meeting The Ministry, which reviewed the sector’s activities plan during the blessed month of Ramadan, and the investment contracts that were concluded to maximize the use of the ministry’s untapped assets.
And I directed the Minister of Culture to follow up on the investment contracts that took place during the last period, and to count the unemployed ones to find out the reasons for the delay in completing work with them, in addition to listing all the unused assets of the ministry in preparation for developing an integrated plan for optimal exploitation in cooperation between the various sectors of the ministry. I also directed the Minister of Culture to list the libraries affiliated with the General Authority for Culture Palaces, and start providing them with the publications of the ministry’s sectors, especially the libraries located in the border areas, centers and villages most in need, which have not been provided with new publications for more than 303 years.
With regard to translation from Arabic into other languages, the Minister directed Culture, in cooperation between the Egyptian General Book Organization and the National Center for Translation to discuss ways of partnership with international publishing agencies to translate the largest number of Arabic titles into other languages and come up with a national working paper to adopt a national project for translation from Arabic into other languages.

The Academy of Arts theaters also witness a number of events, most notably The Oud and Ramadan Nights theatrical performances, in addition to a number of events organized by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces in a number of locations.
