      The Agricultural Bank of Egypt and the Governorate of South Sinai signed a cooperation protocol to provide banking and financing services, support productive projects, create job opportunities for youth and women, and promote sustainable development efforts in the governorate in all fields.

      And it was signed by His Excellency Major General / Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, and Mr. / Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank Al-Masry in the presence of Mr. Sami Abdel Sadiq, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank and a group of leaders of the Bank and the governorate.

    • The protocol included the intention of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt to open a new branch in Sharm El-Sheikh to provide banking and financing services and meet the needs of Ties of the people of the governorate, and the branch will also include an office to serve entrepreneurs and assist young people in studying projects for them, as well as opening a banking services office at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport to serve visitors and tourists, in addition to financing a number of projects for young graduates and cooperation in the field of fattening livestock projects with genetically improved breeds. To produce milk and meat and serve young breeders and launch an awareness campaign for the people of Sinai to introduce financing opportunities within the framework of financial inclusion by holding conferences and events in the development areas of Al-Tur, Nuweiba, Ras Sidr and others, as well as providing microfinance opportunities for Sinai women and youth in the governorate.

      For his part, Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, praised the role of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt in supporting and strengthening development efforts in Egypt and the Governorate of South Sinai. And financing small and micro projects and empowering Sinai youth and women, which contributes to raising the standard of living of the people of the province.

    • The governor indicated that the protocol will be activated to provide financing services to the people of South Sinai and to activate financing programs Micro-projects in cooperation with the governorate’s agencies and to achieve the maximum benefit from financing programs for Sinai women, stressing the importance of this fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Governorate of South Sinai and the Egyptian Agricultural Bank.
