Saudi Airlines and Microsoft sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of digital transformation. Kamal Amer, Editor-in-Chief, writes:

The General Authority of Civil Aviation today signed a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft Arabia Ltd. on the sidelines of the activities of the international technical conference that will be held at the Riyadh Expo front during the period from 1 to 3 February 2022M. The memorandum was signed on the part of the authority by the Director General of Technology and Digital Transformation, Eng. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Shaya, while it was signed by the general manager of the company, Thamer Al-Harbi. The memorandum of understanding aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in the areas of digital transformation, innovation and capacity building. It is noteworthy that the memorandum comes within the objectives of the civil aviation sector strategy to enhance the scope of cooperation in the field of technology and digital transformation, which the authority is keen to activate with international institutions and companies specialized in advanced technical fields, in order to keep pace with the latest developments achieved in the field of digital transformation, and in line with the trends of Vision of the Kingdom 262.
