The center was funded by Majid Al Futtaim Group in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in the Swiss Confederation, and is operated by Education for Employment – Egypt (EFE) and consulted by People 1st International


The opening ceremony took place in the presence of dignitaries from the government sector and businessmen, among whom was Dr. Muhammad Mujahid. Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Kamal, Head of the Central Administration for Investment Zones at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
